SWAT: The third round of talks between the defunct Tahrik-e-Nifaz Shariat Muhammadi (TNSM) and Tahrik Taliban has started at Matta area here.
Sources said that the third round of talks between the defunct TNSM and TT was underway at an unknown place in Matta area here. The direct meeting between Maulana Sufi Muhammad and Maulana Fazlullah is expected sometime after Friday prayers today.
It may be recalled that following the announcement of Sharia Nizam-e-Adl Regulation enforcement on peace in Swat, Maulana Sufi Muhammad accompanied by his thousands of supporters has remained pitched in Swat.
Sources said that TNSM 12 members negotiating committee and members of the Swat TT committee were engaged in the talks. Sources further said that the last night first round talks had ended on agreement to continue talks.
