JAKARTA: Indonesia launched its first retail Islamic bond this month hoping to catch up with its neighbours in the Islamic finance business and help fund a six-billion-dollar economic stimulus package.
"I think demand will be strong because the 12 percent coupon is very attractive," analysts said. The duration of the bond for three years will be effective from Feb 25.
